These days, an increasing number of our children are educated within large and diverse communities in which school and neighborhood transitions can be overwhelming. Afterschool programs help to bridge these divides.
They expand a child's horizons by introducing cultural diversity and broadening their interests beyond their own neighborhood or immediate group of friends. Inspiring our young people to appreciate and learn from others can have a tremendous impact on the quality of life in the Southwestern Pennsylvania communities we all call home.
