Grants Cafe: The Pittsburgh Foundation: Donor-Advised Funds, Small & Mighty, Wish Book
June 26 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm
June 26th – 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM
Kelly Uranker, Director of Philanthropy and Emmie Calland, Senior Manager for the Center for Philanthropy at The Pittsburgh Foundation will speak about donor-advised funds at TPF and in general (https://www.philanthropy.com/article/Working-With-Donor-Advised/243282). The Small and Mighty Program was created to reduce barriers to grant-seeking for organizations with annual budgets under $600,000 (two-thirds of the Pittsburgh region’s nonprofits) serving our most disadvantaged populations and neighborhoods. Grants of up to $15,000 are available through a streamlined process with decisions in as little as 60 days. Small and Mighty grantees have access to workshops, peer-learning and networking events to support their growth and development. Sign up for notification of application deadlines at: https://pittsburghfoundation.org/sam-info-signup.Kelly and Emmie will also discuss eligibility and process for the 2019 Wish Book at http://pittsburghfoundation.org/wish-book-faqs.
The Grants Cafe meets on the LAST WEDNESDAY of each month except August and December. Hot Grant Topics and speakers will be posted by mid-month. Be sure to check back regularly for updates. Thank you!
