A leadership transition can be a time of high vulnerability for a not-for-profit, but also offers unique opportunities for renewal and fresh thinking. This interactive session for boards and executive leadership highlights the essential elements of a successful leadership transition, and the pitfalls of not having a plan. Consultants Sara Jane Lowry and Wendy Burtner Owens of The Nest Group will lead this training and provide tools for attendees to create their own emergency plan should an emergency arise in leadership through sudden resignations, firings, or illness.
