The Importance of Quality
Quality in after school programming is part of a growing national trend. APOST believes that high-quality programming and management enables youth workers to make the most impact on youths’ lives and retains youth in programming. Youth who are engaged in quality programs are equipped with the skills and motivation to improve their own outcomes as well as create a long lasting impact within their communities.
The APOST Program Finder is a listing of more than 800 after-school programs across Allegheny County.
Each program page lists information about the program including:
- Type of organization and program
- Minimum and maximum age of participants
- Website and contact information
- Other important information about its programs
You can search programs by zip code or by keyword, allowing you to find the perfect program by name or the program to your home.
