All regular programs, aside from the food bank and paper product bank are closed. We will be distributing meals (grab & go) – breakfast, lunch, and dinner in our parking lot daily Monday – Friday from 11:30am-12:30pm. Fridays we will provide meals for the weekend as well. We will deliver groceries and do pharmacy pick ups for those who need it. Our computer lab is open to all students/families who need it by appointment only.
The program has been working closely with our food provider so meals can be picked up daily at each site while closed.
The Foundation of HOPE offices on the Northside and Hill District are closed for “face-to-face” contact; however, there is generally staff in the office to answer phone calls and respond to questions to those we serve. We are also conducting phone calls as a safety check to ensure that the families have their essentials and inform them of resources that are in their community. Our License Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is providing assessments and therapy via video-conferencing and we are able to help with transportation.
All workshops and programming will be closed during the entire time of the quarantine and until the Pittsburgh Public Schools allow the students to return to school.
The club after school program will remain closed until the crisis is over.
Grab & Go Breakfast & Lunch meals are available:
The West Mifflin Area School District and the Child & Adult Food Program will pass out meals to the community – Monday – Friday 10:30am – 1:00pm
Private Lessons: In-person lessons cancelled – online lessons will begin and continue, as scheduled directly with teaching artists.
Ensembles: Flute Choir and Singer-Songwriters will meet on google hangouts
