FY 2025-26 Violence Intervention and Prevention (VIP) & Building Opportunities Through Out-of-School Time (BOOST) Grants

On December 10, 2025, the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) announced the availability of $11.5 million in state Violence Intervention and Prevention (VIP) funding to support the FY2024-25 Building Opportunity through Out-of-School Time (BOOST) grant program.

A total of approximately $60 million in VIP Grant funding is being announced for FY 2025-26 through two solicitations: 1) VIP + BOOST Grants (online SurveyMonkey application form), and 2) Statewide BOOST Grants (PCCD’s Egrants System).

The goal of the FY 2025-26 Violence Intervention and Prevention (VIP) and Building Opportunities Through Out-of-School Time (BOOST) grants is to support a wide range of local community violence prevention and intervention strategies, including upstream prevention for at-risk school-age youth.1 This is a single, joint solicitation for VIP + BOOST applicants. For FY 2025-26, a total of approximately $60 million in state funding for Violence Intervention and Prevention (VIP) has been directed to the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) for providing grants and technical assistance to address community violence throughout the Commonwealth.

Apply for VIP & BOOST 2025-2026 Funding by 11:59 PM on January 26, 2026

Eligible applicants seeking FY2025-26 VIP + BOOST Grants funding must complete an online application form in SurveyMonkey.

Please Note: Statewide youth serving nonprofits with a 501(c)(4) designation should not apply using this application and must apply under the FY 25-26 Statewide BOOST application in Egrants. Nonprofit organizations which are affiliated with a statewide youth serving 501(c)(4) organization may apply for funding under the FY 25-26 VIP + BOOST solicitation, unless they will be included as a proposed subrecipient within a Statewide BOOST application. PCCD strongly encourages organizations meeting this criteria to carefully review both funding announcements, coordinate applications, and not submit duplicative funding requests as these are competitive solicitations.

Allegheny Partners for Out-of-School Time (APOST) invites OST Partners to complete this survey to help us understand utilization of Pennsylvania's BOOST funding for 2025-2026.

APOST will summarize this information and share it with out-of-school stakeholders, so that we can understand the implementation of BOOST funding. Contact the APOST Team at apost@afterschoolpgh.org with any questions.
