Allegheny Partners for Out-of-School Time’s

2025-2027 Strategic Plan

Now better poised to support the valuable work of out-of-school time providers throughout Allegheny County.

The Process

In August of 2024, Allegheny Partners for Out-of-School Time (APOST) engaged TLW Strategy to facilitate an interactive strategic planning process. The overall purpose of the project was to:

Develop a collaborative, visionary and achievable strategic plan with input from board, staff and stakeholders. The plan will bring vision and action together to guide APOST’s activities for the next three years and position it for future success.

The process involved APOST Staff, Board Members and APOST stakeholders. A Strategic Plan Committee consisting of three board members supported the facilitation of this process on behalf of APOST with TLW Strategy. Input was gathered from APOST stakeholders in December 2024 to gather insight to the audiences APOST directly aims to support.

  • We seek to understand by meeting people where they are. We embrace opportunities to try, test and evolve our approaches.

  • We convene diverse partners intentionally. We celebrate OST milestones and achievements. We advocate for equitable access for all youth.

  • We follow through on our commitments. We act with integrity. We strive to create accessible and inclusive spaces.
