Is your organization located in Allegheny County & considering applying for VIP & BOOST (Building Opportunities through Out-of-School Time) funding and looking for support?
APOST is looking to provide application assistance to 10 organizations by working with an experienced grant writer to provide feedback on FY 2025-26 Violence Intervention and Prevention (VIP) & Building Opportunities Through Out-of-School Time (BOOST) Grant funding application drafts. The grant writer would not be writing the majority of the content but would be responding to content that the organization provides with feedback to strengthen the application.

Eligibility Requirements
APOST asks that organizations complete the PCCD Applicant Readiness Checklist to determine VIP & BOOST funding eligibility. If you are eligible to apply for VIP & BOOST funding and are interested in grant writing support from APOST, please complete this interest form and be prepared to upload your completed PCCD Applicant Readiness Checklist.
To be eligible for APOST 2025-2026 VIP & BOOST Funding Application Assistance, organizations must:
1) be applying for the FY 2025-26 VIP & BOOST Grant through PCCD*,
2) be located in Allegheny County,
3) and be eligible for the FY 2025-26 VIP & BOOST Grant per the PCCD Applicant Readiness Checklist.
*APOST Application Assistance will only apply to the FY 2025-26 Violence Intervention and Prevention (VIP) & Building Opportunities Through Out-of-School Time (BOOST) Grant funding stream, not the FY 25-26 Statewide BOOST application.
Application & Selection Timeline
The full application form must be completed by 5PM on Monday, December 22, 2025. Organizations will be notified no later than Monday, December 29, 2025 if they have been selected to receive grant writing support through APOST.
If selected, organizations are required to attend an introductory call (virtual) on Monday, January 5 from 11am - 12pm.
